Summer Fun!
- Any student that plans to attend summer school this summer should go to the district web site for enrollment information. Classes are filled on first come first served basis so make sure you check the web site as soon as possible.
- Volleyball Camp:
- Level I: July 14th-18th, 2008 3rd-5th Graders (younger? please call) 9:00 am thru 12:00pm $70 (+$10 after July 7th)*
- Level II July 14th - 18th, 2008 6th - 7th Graders 1:00pm - 4:00pm $80 (+$10 after July 7th)*
- Level III: July 28th
- Aug. 1st, 2008 Incoming 8th
- 9th Graders 8:30am - 12:00

The Maria Luna Award Luncheon on June 12 at the Hyatt is in need of volunteers to greet, help with registration & decorate. This event is hosted by the Hispanic Contractors Association. See Mrs. Brown for more information.

Peanuts Mentor Council for 07-08 and 08-09 -- Picnic Planning Meeting after school today in A210. Everyone needs to be there!
If you are participating in the community connections program, we will be catching the shuttle bus to Grapevine High School after 6th period. The bus will be at the front of the school.
ALL COMMUNITY SCHOLAR AMBASSADOR HOURS MUST BE TURNED IN BY THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
Anyone interested in joining the CHHS tennis team must try out today! The one time try out will be held immediately after school TODAY. Participants must be there no later than 4:00pm.
Students, You recently received a letter with a copy of the courses you selected for next year. You do not need to see your counselor to make changes to your request. Simply follow the directions on the letter, mark out classes you wish to change, and add classes you wish to take. We will receive summer school grades after courses are complete and will make necessary corrections at that time. Please turn in the form to the counseling office by May 19th.
All library books are due this Friday, May 16, 2008. Please return your books and pay all fines by that date.
Golfers: tryouts will be 4:00, May 27 at the Bob Moore's sport center off of Colleyville Boulevard. If you have any more questions ask Coach Campbell in room K 201.

Senior baccalaureate insert invitations will be available when you buy your senior field day shirt or from Mrs. Brown in the office. $1 for every 5 invitations donation is appreciated. |

Don't forget to continue filling out your pink scholarship information sheet and turn it in to the counseling office by May 1st. You must return this sheet in order to be honored at the Senior Awards Ceremony on June 2nd. |

The May scholarship newsletter is now available. If you do not receive a copy please ask your English teacher. There are several great opportunities and the deadlines are approaching. Remember you must request a transcript if you need your counselor's signature, and you must give us one week notice to do this. See Bette Bower in the counseling office for the transcript request. |
